Wispy Fog Nocturne
for piano

Wispy Fog Nocturne has a slow pulsing, whose regularity suggests the subtle flow of the early evening fog (very much the San Francisco of my home). Fauré’s 11th Nocturne, with its similar pulsing rhythm, served as a model for this work.

| Jazz Ground is a brief fairly simple piano solo, Gershwin-like in feeling. A third or fourth year student could manage it.
