High Country Nocturne
for piano

High Country Nocturne explores a texture where the melody is in the outer voices (bottom of the left hand and top of the right hand) with a chordal accompaniment in the middle. The visual inspiration (and title) for the piece was a particular trip I made to Yosemite in 2011.
