The blemishes the blooms
The laughter and perfume
My children’s children have children of their own

Memory, my weathered friend
Don’t leave me here alone

Apples to cider
Kindling to fire
The rusted fenders on a ‘47 coupe

November brings the greenest dreams
The moon swings back around
