“Kate & David” is the main theme of Kurt Kuenne’s score for his documentary “Dear Zachary: a letter to a son about his father”, which chronicled the life and death of his late best friend, Dr. Andrew David Bagby; this theme is meant to encapsulate the enduring love and strength of Andrew’s devoted parents, Kate and David Bagby. This score was nominated for Best Documentary Score of 2008 by the International Film Music Critics Association.
